The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly happening.
