The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features Teor (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the companion and best friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team enter places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them few options but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Explorers and Planners tables.

Fans can expect learning which players will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
